Violet Jumper

My first ever not black, grey or white piece in my wardrobe. Actually, it was kind of love at first sight… When COS first came out with their AW16 campaign, I immediately new I have to get this high-neck jumper. However, I have (rationally) decided not to buy it, cause it’s violet – do I have anything violet, nope. Would I wear anything violet? Nope. But then, winter sales began and I saw (the last piece) in the shop and I had to buy it. It was like … the jumper was waiting for me there, it was a sign πŸ™‚

When you move to a country where there is no winter or summer, where temperatures do not exceed 20Β°C (well, except for a few weeks during the summer), you kinda have to change your wardrobe. When I lived in Prague, I have 1 or 2 winter coats and just a few jumpers – and I always somehow survived during the winter. Now, when I live in London, my whole wardrobe consists Β of only jumpers, coats and turtlenecks. Well, and now one of my favourite is this one πŸ™‚ It fits perfectly, I can wear it with everything and is unbelievably soft and warm! Even though it was a bit of challenge to get used to this violet colour, I am now so happy to have such a piece in my wardrobe!

What about you? Do you have something in your wardrobe that completely stands out – either for the colour, cut or material? Is it your favourite piece? I think everyone should have this “stand out” piece in their wardrobe. I think we kinda need to allow ourselves to try new and different things .. and you never know if you’ll be comfortable in it or not – so, let’s start trying and having fun! πŸ™‚
